Beautiful Words: The Power of Words
This short film illustrates the power of words to radically change your message and your effect upon the world.
Comments:
It's not about words, the new sign is no more elegant in turns of sentence than the old one. It's about how we think, or how to communicate. The first sign appeals to our want or need to help another fellow who needs help. We give money to ease his pain. The second one places us in the shoes of the blind man, we give more money to ease OUR pain. Which brings out a interesting point, we tend to value our own pain more than we value the pain of others.
It took a few minutes before it hit me.. But it was very touching nonetheless..
This video's message is that I should pity the blind because they can't see what I see. Do you really think the blind can't experience the beauty in the world? It's not true that blind people can't "see" a beautiful day! They just "see" it differently from the sighted. I agree with the importance of using the right words, but not with the message of this video. Give blind people educations tailored to their needs, and productive jobs, and they won't need to beg for change on the streets.

I reacted with tears. Why, because those who are less fortunate are all around us every day and we do not notice until there is just the slightest bit of difference. I did not cry because he was blind, I cried because of our ignorance and lack of care for those in need unless something catches our attention that is our of the ordinary.

* When I spill my soup on my shirt, and I forgotten how to tie my shoelaces,
o Please remember how I first taught you to do everything with my hands.
* When I keep repeating and nagging you over and over again,
o Please be patient and listen to me, don’t interrupt me.
o When you’re young, I had to keep repeating thousands hundreds of time to mould you to who you are.
* When I require you to bath me,
o Please don’t find me irritating.
o Do remember how I find all means and methods just to bath you.
* When new technologies and stuff I don’t understand,
o Please don’t laugh at me.
o Think of how I replied to so many of your (Why..)s when you’re young.
* When my legs are tired and unable to walk,
o Please lend me your young strength to hold me.
o Just like how I hold you when you started your first step in life.
* When I suddenly forgot our conversation topic,
o Please give me some time to think.
o Actually to me, the topic is not important, all I want is to have you by my side to listen and I’ll be satisfied.
* When you see me getting older, please don’t be sad.

So you've got a problem?
That's good.
Why ?

Attitude is the mind's paintbrush, it can color a situation gloomy or gray or cheerful, in fact, attitudes are more important than facts.
If you don't like something, change it, if you can't change it, change your attitude, don’t complain.
Our attitudes control our lives. Attitudes are a secret power working twenty-four hours a day, for good or bad it is of paramount importance that we know how to harness and control this great force.
Ability is what you're capable of doing. Motivation determines what you do. Attitude determines how well you do it.
Our success or our failure is the result of our mental condition, our thoughts about people and about ourselves, our attitudes toward people and toward ourselves.
Your living is determined not so much by what life brings to you as by the attitude you bring to life, not so much by what happens to you as by the way your mind looks at what happens. Circumstances and situations do color life, but you have been given the mind to choose what the color shall be.

I have learned
I’ve learned that no matter how much i care, some people don’t care…
